My name is Lezli, and I am a full-time mom, full-time project manager, and full-time thinker. I once visited a used bookstore that also contained a coffee shop and was dog-friendly. If there was a more ideal place to spend time, I don't know where that might be.
Since a brick-and-mortar building was out of reach, and I have no idea how to run a coffee shop, I decided to skip the coffee and go mobile with a used bookstore. I purchased a camper and completely overhauled it into a bookstore, with the help of a lot of amazing friends and family.
The Book Nook is a cozy and welcoming space, embodying all things hygge. Customers are welcome to bring their favorite beverage, take their time browsing books, puzzles, and games, and sit and chat about their latest or greatest reads.
The Book Nook also sells sourdough and non-sourdough baked goods depending on the event and location. Lillian’s Home, LLC, is a registered business and has a Minnesota cottage bakery license.
In college, my friends gave me the nickname of Grandmother Lillian, because I was always the one who was early to bed, early to rise, and making sure everyone was safe and taken care of. I've held a fondness for this nickname ever since, and it seemed like the perfect name for my business.
